Aena, the semi-public company which manages Spanish airports, will be investing €296.84 million in the on Sant Joan airport in Palma de Mallorca, up until 2021. The money will be used to further improve safety and air conditioning as well as funding operations to reduce environmental impact and expand the infrastructure, amongst other things.

GARCIA FAURA will be assisting with one of the largest scale projects assigned to us in France: the Archipel project. This involves the construction of two buildings for the complex to be erected in Nanterre, which will house the headquarters of the French industrial group Vinci, in the northern French town.

Over the past few months, GARCIA FAURA has been working in the final phase of several very important projects such as EasyHotel at l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, the renovation of the Mapfre Tower and various residential developments in Sant Cugat del Vallès and Viladecans, to name but a few.

The forthcoming new Palmas Altas retail centre, located to the south of Seville, will comprise 1800 square metres of curtain walling, developed, manufactures and installed by GARCIA FAURA. The commercial area, which is the most expensive in Andalucía, is scheduled to be opened in April 2019 and will create some 3000 jobs.

GARCIA FAURA is carrying out operations in France, specifically in Paris. This entails the renovation of Cité Blanche, a building complex comprising more than 600 dwellings, which is located in the outskirts of the French capital. The project has secured the investment of €30 million from Paris Habitat, a joint venture between the French Government and the Paris City Council.

GARCIA FAURA will play an active role in the construction of a new university residence on calle Viriato in Barcelona. The building will be 54 metres high, with 16 floors comprising residential rooms, communal living area and washrooms, plus two additional basement floors for car parking. The facility will comprise 13,300 square metres in total.
