The new student residence in Barcelona will bear our hallmark

The design of the residence, which is to be located very near to the Sants station, is the brainchild of Blanch y Cuenca Arquitectura and has been designed using the Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodology; a collaborative work system for managing construction projects by means of digital modelling.

The digital model constitutes a large database, allowing for management of the infrastructure elements throughout its life cycle. This results in more efficient construction, reduced costs and collaborative working practices.

For this student residence, GARCIA FAUR will fabricate 980 square metres of aluminium and glass enclosures with thermal break, which equates to guaranteed sealing and insulation. A perfect solution for facilities requiring silence and comfort.

They will serve a large number of population and both had long been claimed by the neighbors and the respective municipalities.
