The new school of Caldes de Malavella stands on a plot covering approximately 10,000 m2, of which the building occupies just over half. The remainder of the plot is reserved for the future construction of an institute. Both centres will be communal and thus reduce construction and management costs. The new school building is located in a flood zone, albeit of a very high environmental quality, between two roads and the forest. The project development has a U-shape and 3 upper floors that also serve to delineate the interior play area.
GARCIA FAURA fabricated and installed a set of building enclosures. A total of 445 m2 aluminium profiles with high technical performance and aesthetics in line with the construction project were manufactured. The maximum levels of well-being and comfort are sought for the end users of the installation: the students and the teaching staff of the educational establishment.
