GARCIA FAURA is constructing a new and distinctive office building in Luxembourg
The Catalan firm is manufacturing and installing the curtain wall façade, amongst other works, for The Rock project, which is currently under construction in the Cloche d’Or district, in the Gasperich area of Luxembourg.
GARCIA FAURA continues to make its mark on the city of Luxembourg. This time, the company is involved in The Rock project, an office building currently under construction in Cloche d’Or, a business and residential neighbourhood in the Gasperich district.
The building belongs to a company with which GARCIA FAURA has already collaborated on several occasions in Luxembourg, confirming the trust and value that the Catalan firm conveys to its clients through its high-quality work.
The Rock project consists of a four-storey building, topped by a second structure spanning from the fifth to the tenth floor. The colours of its façade, in reddish and brown tones, evoke a rock.
For this project, GARCIA FAURA is manufacturing and installing over 5,200 square metres of industrialised modular curtain wall façade, manufactured at the company’s facilities in Gavà (Barcelona) and transported to Luxembourg in ready-to-install modules.
Specific solutions developed by GARCIA FAURA
To produce these modules, GARCIA FAURA’s design office and its engineering and R&D teams developed highly specific solutions, including the creation of six moulds to produce six new and exclusive profiles for the project.
Other work carried out for The Rock includes: approximately 3,000 square metres of BSO, over 450 linear metres of coping, over 650 square metres of cladding and 200 linear metres of glass balustrades.
It is worth highlighting the uniqueness of the project: one area consists of modules clad in a specific stone imported from India.
