GARCIA FAURA is committed to continuously improving its sustainability and reducing its environmental footprint. For this reason, we implement monitoring measures and develop internal plans to help us achieve these goals.

Climate Neutrality Mitigation Plan
The Climate Neutrality Mitigation Plan is GARCIA FAURA‘s first sustainability declaration in accordance with European standards. The Plan is based on calculating the company’s current corporate carbon footprint, from which the company has established a structured roadmap for the progressive decarbonization of its operations.
With this commitment, GARCIA FAURA has set the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 42% by 2030. In doing so, the company is anticipating the entry into force of general legislation that will require companies to undertake actions to mitigate the effects of climate change.
The development of this Plan has been supported by the ACCIÓ Green Voucher from the Government of Catalonia.
Ecological balance of economic activity
The ecological balance of economic activity is based on a circular economy project through which GARCIA FAURA has been able to use the EcoBalance tool to assess the environmental impacts at the input of the production process, including the consumption of raw materials and energy, and at the output, such as associated emissions produced in the air or in products.
In this way, we have been able to identify critical points that can serve as the basis for implementing strategic improvement opportunities, structured around four key areas: sustainable purchasing, waste management, renewable energy, and sustainable mobility.
This initiative has received support from the Ecoindustria 2024 Project, in collaboration with the Barcelona Provincial Council and the Gavà City Council, among others.
