El nuevo equipamiento, que sustituir\u00e1 la antigua c\u00e1rcel de Tarragona, tendr\u00e1 m\u00e1s de 65.000 metros cuadrados y capacidad para 750 internos. Un equipo de 15 instaladores trabaja estos d\u00edas en las obras de montaje de los 20.000 metros cuadrados de cancelas, celdas y mamparas del recinto.<br \/>\nLa direcci\u00f3n de GARCIA FAURA ha visitado el estado de las obras de la nueva prisi\u00f3n de Tarragona, situada en el paraje de Mas d&#8217;Enric. Las obras de instalaci\u00f3n del conjunto de cerramientos se iniciaron en el verano de 2010 y est\u00e1 previsto que finalicen a finales de este verano. Actualmente una treintena de oficiales trabajan en las tareas de fabricaci\u00f3n del conjunto de cancelas, celdas y mamparas: un total de cerca de 20.000 metros cuadrados de cerramientos. El ritmo de trabajo actual est\u00e1 permitiendo fabricar 140 metros cuadrados por d\u00eda. En la obra, 15 instaladores se encargan del montaje de todas estas piezas. Completan el equipo 5 ingenieros de la Oficina T\u00e9cnica de la empresa, encargados de los dibujos de planos, las \u00f3rdenes de fabricaci\u00f3n y la coordinaci\u00f3n general de la obra.<br \/>\nLa nueva prisi\u00f3n de Tarragona comportar\u00e1 una inversi\u00f3n cercana a los 114 millones de euros.
