Both actions are aimed at improving the company&#8217;s ecological footprint.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">In recent months, <strong>GARCIA FAURA<\/strong> has been working on two projects aimed at <strong>reducing its ecological footprint<\/strong> and moving towards a greener and more sustainable business model. These are the <strong>mitigation plan for climate neutrality<\/strong> and the <strong>ecological balance of economic activity<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">The <strong>mitigation plan for climate neutrality<\/strong> is <strong>GARCIA FAURA<\/strong>&#8216;s first sustainability statement in accordance with European standards. The plan is based on the calculation of the current corporate carbon footprint, from which the company has established a structured roadmap for the progressive decarbonisation of its activity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">With this letter of commitment, <strong>GARCIA FAURA<\/strong> has set itself the target of <strong>reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 42% by 2030<\/strong>. In this way, the company is ahead of the entry into force of general legislation, which will oblige companies to take action to mitigate the effects of climate change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">In terms of the <strong>ecological balance of economic activity<\/strong>, this is a circular economy project through which <strong>GARCIA FAURA<\/strong> has been able to use the <strong>EcoBalance<\/strong> tool to assess the environmental impacts at the beginning of the production process, both in terms of raw material and energy consumption, and at the end, such as the emissions associated with the product.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">In this way, the company can identify critical points that can be used to implement strategic improvement opportunities structured around four areas: sustainable purchasing, waste management, renewable energy and sustainable mobility.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">A leading company in the sector<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">These projects have been carried out with public funding from the Catalan Government&#8217;s ACCI\u00d3 Green Coupon and the Ecoindustria 2024 Project, in collaboration with Barcelona Provincial Council and Gav\u00e0 Town Council, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">In this way, <strong>GARCIA FAURA<\/strong> has once again positioned itself as a <strong>leading company<\/strong> in the sector in terms of the support received from public administrations in achieving its social responsibility objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The company has recently developed a mitigation plan for climate neutrality and an ecological balance sheet for its economic activity.
