In the Porta Diagonal business and services park, in Esplugues de Llobregat, Tower One<\/strong> is being built, one of the two towers of almost one hundred metres in height that will become a symbol of the entrance to the city of Barcelona via Diagonal Avenue, as well as connecting with the natural environment of Collserola.<\/p>\n The building, which will be used as a hotel, will be located on Ahrensburg Avenue and will be a 98-metre high building with 526 residential units, of which 350 will be rooms and the rest will be studios and flats. This will add 798 beds to the supply of accommodation in the Barcelona metropolitan area.<\/p>\n The project, developed by Batlle & Roig Architects, covers a buildable area of 20,950 square metres. It will have 25 floors and will present a high-impact plant aesthetic, thanks to a network of planters on the north and south fa\u00e7ades<\/strong>. This natural vegetation will be used for the first time on almost a thousand vertical fa\u00e7ade<\/strong> slats, installed by GARCIA FAURA<\/strong>, which in the upper part of the building will connect with a pergola in which the building’s photovoltaic panels will be housed.<\/p>\n GARCIA FAURA<\/strong> is also responsible for the manufacture and installation of different fa\u00e7ade<\/strong> elements, such as 1,250 square metres of curtain wall<\/strong>, more than 2,700 square metres of metal cladding with composite panel or the set of metal substructures of the ventilated fa\u00e7ade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Finally, GARCIA FAURA<\/strong> manufactures and installs 773 aluminium<\/strong> exterior carpentry with thermal bridge break, with practicable opening and equipped with elements such as interior locking or opening limitation.
