The Emergency Medical Service (SEM) of Catalonia will have a new headquarters at the southern entrance to Barcelona. It is a building of some 21,000 square metres designed in such a way as to facilitate its integration into the campus of the Catalan Institute of Oncology in a natural and balanced way, respecting the spaces of other facilities on the Hospital Duran i Reynals campus or the Hestia Health and Social Care Centre.<\/p>\n
The new building will have a flat and diaphanous interior structure, free of pillars, which will allow a high degree of adaptability and flexibility, as well as good natural lighting and a perfect interrelation between the users and the landscaped spaces outside.<\/p>\n
The fa\u00e7ade<\/strong> being developed by GARCIA FAURA<\/strong> will become a key element in the contribution to this comfort.
